AIRBRUSH FAQ’s

Overspray? Ways to avoid the issue.

  • Overspray is a common problem. Although, it can be avoided.
Do not point the airbrush in areas that you are not spraying. Using the masking technique helps, or a piece of paper to cover the area that you are not spraying.

Airbrush Clogging

  • The best way to deal with this is to make sure that the paint you are using is not too thick. Try thinning with water, if it continues, then give the airbrush a thorough clean. If that doesn’t work try putting the pressure up on the compressor.

Airbrush Pressure

  • A good rule of thumb is to set the pressure based on the ink or paint you are using and how thick or thin it is. Experiment a little. Your technique in spraying also determines the air pressure.
